如何消除噪音污染
Nowadays, along with the fast pace of urban development, noise pollution has largely disturbed the normal life of city dwellers. It has becomes such a serious problem that it has aroused the concern from the whole society.
現(xiàn)如今，伴隨著城市快速發(fā)展的步伐，噪音污染對城市居民的正常生活干擾很大。噪音污染成了一個如此嚴(yán)重的問題，所以引起了整個社會的關(guān)注。
To put an end to such a serious problem, in my mind, calls for the efforts from all sides. First of all, major factories, as main noise creators, should be moved to industrial zones in suburbs. Department stores and big restaurants should not to be established too close to residential quarters. Moreover, the municipal government should increase the ratio of green land in the city, which can reduce all kinds of noises significantly. Last but not least, all urban constructions should be stopped during the night so as not to disturb the neighboring dwellers.
依我看來，要解決這一嚴(yán)重的問題，需要各方的努力。第一，大型工廠作為主要噪音制造者，應(yīng)該搬到郊外的工業(yè)區(qū)。百貨商店和大型餐廳不應(yīng)該建得離居民區(qū)太近。另外，市政府應(yīng)該提高城市土地的綠化率，這能很大程度上減少各種噪音。最后但同樣重要的是，在夜間，所有的城市建設(shè)都應(yīng)該停止，以防打擾周圍的.居民。
How can anybody expect to lead a meaningful life until he is far from noise pollution? Only when all of us join in the efforts of eliminating noise pollution at all levels can we expect to have a better environment and a more beautiful future.

In the past, a great many people used to use disposable plastic bags for shopping and other purposes. However, the excessive use of disposable plastic bags has led to great damages both to environment and to peoples health.

On the one hand, it takes about 200 years for a buried plastic bag to decompose and be absorbed by the soil. On the other hand, the use of disposable plastic bags will indirectly do harm to peoples health, which is less known to the public. Sometimes people buy hot food packed into disposable plastic bags to save the time and labor in washing their dining utensils. Yet they are not informed of the chemicals in the bags will release in high temperature. Therefore, they are eating the poisonous stuff while enjoying the tasty food.
